Our Return Policy is designed to be as hassle-free and fair as possible. We want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase but understand sometimes an item needs to be returned or exchanged.

In-store returns

  • HOW LONG DO I HAVE TO MAKE A RETURN?

    You have thirty (30) days* from the purchase date to return or exchange the item at the original purchase price. Returns must be in its original packaging with the original proof of purchase. Manager approval is required for any returns or exchanges made after 30 days from date of purchase..


    *Some items are excluded from the 30 Day window, please see Return Requirements & Exceptions below

  • PROOF OF PURCHASE

    For in store returns you will need the original receipt. Manager approval is required for any return or exchanges made without the original receipt.

  • REFUNDS

    Refunds for in-store purchases will be returned to the original form of payment (Cash, Credit Card, or Gift Card). Returns are processed immediately but can take 5 – 7 business days to reflect on your account.


    For in-store purchases made with a check, funds will be returned via a check issued from Store Support.

  • RETURN REQUIREMENTS & EXCEPTIONS

    Items that have a warranty will be repaired in accordance with manufacturer’s warranty.

  • Clothing & Footwear

    Must be in like-new condition and able to be sold (unwashed, tags still attached, and unworn). Defective footwear may be returned within Thirty (30) days for a full credit towards a footwear purchase. Footwear found to have abusive sole or upper wear may not be returned for credit.

  • Gun Shop

    All sales are final, including Ammo.

  • Outdoor & Gas Power Equipment

    Unused outdoor and gas powered equipment (including, but not limited to, mowers, chainsaws, blowers, tillers, and pressure washers) must be returned within thirty (30) days; be accompanied by original receipt; and be completely emptied of any fluids.


    Used equipment must be taken to an authorized repair center and will be covered by the manufacturer’s warranty as applicable.


    ALL GENERATOR SALES ARE FINAL.

  • WHAT IF I DO NOT PICK UP MY ATWOODS PICK UP ORDER?

    We will hold your pick up order for 3 days from the order date. If you have not picked up your order in this time frame we will automatically cancel and refund your order to the original form of payment.

Online returns

  • HOW DO I RETURN AN ITEM I ORDERED ONLINE?

    To initiate an online return, please contact our Online Customer Service team Monday – Friday at 1-844-4ATWOOD (1-844-428-9663) or [email protected] , and one of our associates will be happy to assist. Please have your order confirmation number available when calling.

  • HOW LONG DO I HAVE TO MAKE AN ONLINE RETURN?

    You have 30 days from the date your order is received to return the item to Customer Support.

  • REFUNDS

    Refunds for online purchases will be returned to the original form of payment (Cash, Credit Card, PayPal, or Gift Card). Returns are processed immediately but will take time to reflect on your account based on your bank’s processing time.

  • RETURN REQUIREMENTS & EXCEPTIONS

    Clothing & Footwear

    Must be in like-new condition and able to be sold (unwashed, tags still attached, and unworn). Any clothing with missing tags will be returned to the shipper. Defective footwear may be returned within thirty (30) days for a full credit towards a footwear purchase. Footwear found to have abusive sole or upper wear may not be returned for credit.

    Items shipped via freight directly from the manufacturer are not eligible for return. This includes, but is not limited to, items shipped from the following manufacturers:

  • CAN I EXCHANGE AN ITEM I ORDERED ONLINE IN STORE?

    Select items can be exchanged in any ATWOODS store. Please contact Online Customer Service to arrange an exchange with your local store.

  • RETURN SHIPPING COSTS

    The customer is responsible for all original and return shipping costs on non-defective items (if you changed your mind, order incorrectly, wrong size, etc.). Stores cannot refund shipping costs on any exchange made in the store. C.O.D deliveries are not accepted.
